Very very honoured to be @attitudemag’s person of the year!!! Heartstopper is so deeply precious to me and I’m so grateful that it means a lot to many of you too. I had a delightful time getting to do a cool fashiony photoshoot, everyone who was there was very kind, and I got to draw this very fun cover! And thank you to @junodawson for the lovely article (apart from the comment about me dressing like Portia from the White Lotus… accurate but damn now I have to completely reinvent my style)

So I have a little surprise for you… on February 2nd, @teambkmrk are publishing the first of a set of gorgeous Heartstopper hardback editions!!! These won’t be limited in number so if you can order from the UK, you should be able to get one! Volume One contains one of my old mini-comics, ‘The Dream’, which you may have read if you follow the comic online. It’s out Feb 2nd and you can preorder now from Waterstones or other UK book retailers! 🍂 I feel very lucky that there are so many different editions of Vol 1 now 💖

My novella, NICK AND CHARLIE, is out today in the US and Canada! I originally wrote this short story in 2015, which was before Heartstopper ever existed. It was only released on e-book in 2015, so it’s very cool that this gorgeous hardback now exists, eight years later. I was very excited to get to illustrate the cover once again! I hope you all enjoy this little story about Nick and Charlie’s last summer before Nick heads off to university! ☀️🍂🌈

That’s a wrap on Heartstopper season 2! It’s been an incredibly intense few months on set with many new challenges for the cast and crew, but everyone rose to those challenges with such passion and skill and determination. Huge thanks to every single member of the cast and crew - everyone has worked ridiculously hard and given it their all, and for that I am eternally grateful. This season is going to be so magical and I can’t wait to get started on post-production! 🍂🌈
